Waiting

These are thy wonders, Lord of Love,
Lily of the Valley, Convallaria majalis

To make us see
Columbine, Aquilegia
we are but flowers that glide:
Calla Lily Aethiopica

Which when we once can finde
Hydrangea Arborescens - Annabelle

and prove

Bishop's Weed Aegopodium

Thou hast a garden for us, where to bide.

Lily Lilium
from The Temple by George Herbert, 1838

Flowers, waiting in white
